The Cartwheels new album was recorded at their home in Glenlyon in the central highlands of Victoria. With this album the Cartwheels have stripped their sound back to the core. In Wendy’s ten new songs you can here echoes of the Carter Family, early Dolly and Trio while still maintaining originality. Wendy’s beautiful vocals come to the fore while the playing compliments and gives the album an earthy and authentic feel. The new album was a labour of love and you can hear it in every note.
